How does pricing work?
Owners set a transparent per-day price. You pay the rental amount online and get a GST invoice instantly. A refundable security deposit may be held for the trip and returned after it ends.
Do I need KYC to rent?
Yes. A one-time KYC with your ID and driving licence is required before your first booking, so both owners and renters are verified. Your licence must cover the vehicle class (LMV for cars, MCWG for bikes and scooters).
When is my security deposit refunded?
The refundable deposit is returned within 3 working days after the trip, once any traffic challans and charges are verified. Deductions, if any, are backed by proof and can be disputed with support.
Who is responsible for damage or traffic challans?
During the trip the renter is responsible for damage and traffic challans. Damage you cause is not covered by the vehicle's insurance, so the renter pays the repair cost. Rental Wheels is a marketplace that helps and mediates, but is not a party to the rental.
Can I cancel a booking?
An unpaid booking is released automatically if you do not pay within the payment window, at no charge. Paid bookings can be cancelled by contacting support; where a refund is due it goes back to your original payment method.
How do I list my vehicle and get paid?
Download the Rental Wheels app, complete KYC, add your vehicle with its RC and insurance, set a price, and e-sign the host agreement. Earnings from completed trips go to your in-app wallet and can be withdrawn to your bank or UPI.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete account in the app, or from the Delete Account page. We anonymise your profile and remove your KYC documents; tax records are kept in anonymised form as required by law.
